National Library of Australia has subscribed to the Dacheng lao jiu kan quan wen shu ju ku (大成老旧刊全文数据库) = Dacheng Old Journal Full-text Database. Dacheng Old Journal Full-text Database is an easy to use database of full-text journals. It includes a collection of 7,000 periodicals, 130,000 issues and 1.3 million articles, which were published from 1840 to 1949 in mainland China. Many of the periodicals in Dacheng database are rare and unique during late Qing Dynasty.

The coverage of the Dacheng database is mostly the first issue through 1840 to 1949 in the areas of philosophy, economic, politics, military, industry, agriculture, transportation, literature, history, geography, astronomy and astrology.
